After our first event in June, we received tremendous positive feedback and requests to have another one. In collaboration with friend Abby Gordon and her family, we created a safe space for individuals to unleash their inner creativity and get regrounded through a sip-and-paint brunch. The day consisted of a mindfulness breathing activity, a free-paint icebreaker hosted by Abby, in which participants could share their reflections on their creations, and step-by-step painting sessions hosted by Pauline. The day ended with a communal painting session on canvas. It was beautiful to see people express their personal life experiences and lessons through paint strokes and conversation.
